Perturbed Learning Automata (Presentation at JKU, Linz)

On May 3rd, 2019, I gave a presentation at Johannes Kepler University in Linz (see announcement) on recent developments on Perturbed Learning Automata. This is a type of learning automata learning dynamics first introduced by G. Chasparis and J. Shamma in paper and has been recently extended by G. Chasparis in paper. Special attention is drawn on the advantages of this type of dynamics for distributed convergence to efficient outcomes in noisy environments, i.e., when performance measurements are corrupted by noise. A copy of the presentation can be found at T_2019-05-03_JKU_PhDSeminar_Chasparis_PLA.
